How long does a CPR training take to complete, and How Long is the certification good for?CPR and first aid trainings generally take between 2-3 hours, but that time can be influenced by the class size, number of instructors, and pre-existing knowledge and certifications of students. ASHI certifications through Express EMS last for 2 years.

Are the First AID and CPR trainings through Express EMS Accredited and Do they count towards continuing education?Yes, the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) is part of the HSI organization, which is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). CAPCE is the national accrediting body for emergency medical services continuing education courses and providers. CAPCE's accreditation standards require that programs have sound educational offerings, which are determined by reviewing the program's objectives, teaching plan, faculty, and evaluation processes

What is the difference between American Heart Association (AHA), The Red Cross (TRC), and American Health and Safety Institute (ASHI)certifications? Which is better?In a short answer, they all utilize the same guidelines and because they are all nationally recognized and CAPCE certified, they are equivalent levels of training.
